We've been busy having fun at And Now Wee. Last Saturday was no different as we teamed up with the Strong Rooms Bar in Shoreditch for our Summer Party with ANW goodies, DJ's and beer. You can see what we got up to during the afternoon below. 

COMING SOON - And Now Wee will be apart of a limited edition collection for

the Queen's diamond jubilee. The pop-up store on Carnaby Street in London will feature 2 exclusive designs from ANW, which fits the concept of rebellious, cool Britannia and provocative. More details of the store and a planned street party to follow.

ANW MUSIC : JAKIL

When we last heard Jakil it was almost a year ago in Camden around the corner from Friday's gig at Proud. They were good that night, but a completely different outfit a year on. Jakil have brought together new members and spent the time needed to properly write and gig with balance. It was easy to tell they've been working hard. Stand out songs 'Keep Me Sunny' and 'Break for the Border' demonstrated huge development in sophistication of their sound. Here is a band that have been together since school and done the work required to secure a spot at one of London's serious music venues. There was no unnecessary thrashing of heads, monotonous solos or individual blandness. A sound oriented performance meant that these boys are focused on entertaining, which so many bands these days seem to forget as they act as if they are in rehearsal ignoring the crowds that have paid good money to see, hear and embrace new music. A year from now we expect others will be telling you about the next big thing 'Jakil', but you heard it here first.

Friday Feeling - things we like

We are currently very busy at the moment making some subtle changes to how you can use and interactive with the lovely people involved in the ANW community. These changes will start to trickle down in the coming weeks but for now we are introducing some exciting new content for those of you that visit us regularly.

This update will introduce our new format which we have divided up into updates, features and things we like which included anything and everything that we receive, see, touch feel etc that you may like too. More of this to follow but for now enjoy!

Print Review : Detroit Owns You

Our latest print review considers a true icon of the 60s/70s with Steve McQueen. Our McQueen has be re-worked and render with our animal stag motif as we capture the essence of the era with his Ferrari 250 GT Lusso. We reach the third print review and present our One Fine Day Tee. Continuing with gangs of the South West we see our early motor cycle gang movement explode to the fore. Our unidentified heroes take time off the road for a well deserved break in their regular biker bar off Route 66. The men of this era desperately loved their bikes and the life style that came with it. Bar brawls, long nights and open road separate these men from the rest. Grab a cold one and come out from behind the lens to join them.

TOMA HAWK : PRINT REVIEW

We have always been fascinated by Native American History and understand that there is much controversey surrounding the terms/history so would prefer to leave that to those in the know. However, the design interpretations from this era are magnificent and we lay tribute to the indigenous peoples of America and 1950s suburbia with our Toma Hawk Print.

The scene is set in the out skirts of North Alaska, where outside one of the last mining factories in the area we see friends enjoy a quick smoke on their lunch break. These are times of mixed prosperity. The men in these pictures are hard and desperately loyal to what they know; hard work and honesty. Why not join them for a few beers before it's back to work for another long shift.

CAT GANG OF NEW YORK TEE : PRINT REVIEW

Our SS12 collection moves forward with our fresh view on 50's America. Bronx turf wars, Harley's, leather motorcycle gloves and jump boots set the tone for a raw and unfinished image of a decade at its best. The usual suspects of ANW's animal renditions remains. The CAT GANG OF NEW YORK TEE takes a snap shot of the rare moment a gang leaders is photographed individually. The norm of large packs of motorcycle members would, in most cases, take centre stage.
