60 SECONDS OR SO WITH OUR IN-HOUSE MODEL JAY

With the recent successes for And Now Wee we thought we would take some time out to introduce you to a variety of people directly / indirectly involved with our brand. To kick us off we caught up with the very charming and extremely modest Jay Cullen. Jay is one of our in-house models and at ANW we don't just want anyone old model being a 'canvass' for our clothes. We firmly believe in working together with our outsourced teams and they have to feel passionately about what we are trying to achieve. With a new agency and recent stints with the upcoming Adidas campaigns, we spend a few minutes with a real talent for the future: 

Jay you recently did our first ever ANW campaign. Did u enjoy?

Being part of a new brand is very exciting, the shoot for the campaign was great and i feel very privileged to be involved with the brand.

How's the modeling going?
Modeling is going great thanks! I have recently been signed by a top london agency, which has provided me with the opportunity to take it on full time. So I am very excited to see what the future holds.

What's your favorite ANW garment?

My favorite garment without doubt has to be the scoop neck Vizzy tees. Style and fit is bang on trend, and its perfect for showing a little bit of man cleavage!

Where do u see yourself 5 years from now?
Wow 5 years from now, there's so much I want to achieve. Ultimately I want to be a successful model by having numerous campaigns under my belt, with this I hope to travel to as many countries as possible around the world.

Any advice for budding models?
Modeling is a lot harder than it looks, you don't need to be the best looking person in the world but you do need to be dedicated and focused on succeeding. Be prepared for rejection as it is part of the job but don't let it get in the way of pursuing your dream.

And Now Wee to be stocked in 'Mary Queen of shops' Primrose Hill store London.

It's with huge excitement to announce that And Now Wee is now available in Mary Portas new Save the Children store in Primrose Hill - London. Mary, who is one of London's leading  retail marketing consultants and journalists, is best known for her television series Mary Queen of shops which is a regular feature for BBC1.

Already causing a buzz amongst the local community and fashion insiders, the concept is designed by Mary’s agency, Yellowdoor. And Now Wee will sit beside designers and brands such as Nina Campbell, Jessica Light, Kangol Headwear, Fred Perry and J Brand to name but a few. 
The significance of this very special stockists is our collaboration with a charity that is doing such important work for children across the world. The official launch for the store is this Saturday 18th which is just in time for the Christmas rush so if you are in the area why not pop in and say hello. The manager is a lovely lady called Kate who's enthusiasm for her store and it's important cause is something very special indeed. More photo's and updates to follow.
