As I started to draft for my first ever blog this morning I started to get nervous. This worry stems from the determination to ensure that everything I write in the following weeks, months and hopefully years is interesting, rich and useful to the person reading. You've reached this far so let me try and get you though another paragraph before eating your own eyeballs.
This blog is new, exciting, challenging, empowering, just some of the words immediately selling the blog phenomenon at the top of google ads. In the lead up to researching blogs people kept telling me to talk about my new business and the "journey" so far or the product info which I should be plugging. Upon deeper inspection the world press community (a hard core group of blogging professionals) tell you to strictly focus on offering the reader "an enhancement in his or her's skill and knowledge on a desired subject". This is then followed by a list of "how to blogs" or "understanding the blah blah blah". Now don't get me wrong, these are fantastic starting points which have already had an influence hence their mention, but how should And Now Wee's blog work?
Clearly a combination of the later "how too's and deeper understandings" would offer readers more depth and certainly feature in future blogs, yet I would probably look at this blog/space/network as the perfect setting to combine our brand with you the customer. So I'm going to start by saying thankyou in advance for the future comments, feedback, being positive /negative, inspiring, optimistic that will influence the way in which we conduct and develop our brand. You are part of the first. If you've read this far then hopefully something has been engaging. If not then hopefully those guys will revisit us again in the years to come.
We are extremely excited about the future of A.N.W and want you to be apart of our journey. Your input is crucial to us so add coments, send pictures, sing songs or simply follow if you want. Unlike most competitors we will listen and react to all constructive feedback. In reaching my inital expectations for blogging I'm going to leave it up to you. I guess if you add a comment or get in touch we will begin to discover it together, otherwise I'll just have to stick with the 'how too's and understandings' for now and see where this new path takes us all.
